I had a long weekend in Melbourne and I’m back and getting ready for the rest of the week. I love Melbourne. I’d like to live there. When I go, I usually spend a lot of time eating out. This was no exception. I went to visit relatives but also caught up with some RWAust folk for Friday night dinner. Great fun. There’s something about spending a few hours talking to fellow writers that can’t be beat. And what was amazing when I think about it, is that one is a NYT best seller (Keri Arthur), one a RITA finalist and best seller (Anne Gracie) one a 2007 Golden Heart finalist (Mel Scott) and one a recent finalist in a couple of RWAmerica contests in YA (Robyn Enlund).

Our discussions made me think a lot about what I’m writing and what I want to write. The two are not necessarily the same at the moment. So more reflection is needed. And much less time on the internet. Hmm….

It’s been poetry month in the US I think and Rosina Lippi/Sara Donati has been posting poems on her site. This one is terrific.

Still in Wordpress hell. Maybe one day I’ll get a nice new theme.

…that’s if I can get it going. Having some troubles but still blogging over there.

I’m trying to set up this Wordpress blog but I’m having trouble getting the theme I want. I think it has something to do with me not understanding how to upload the theme file. I don’t understand ftp! I certainly am totally confused about my ftp settings. So this blog may be a journey into working out what I’m supposed to be doing!
