The Romance Writers of Australia National Conference is on later this week. I’m staying at the Hotel on Darling Habour in Sydney for four days. It’s the time when I bliss out and indulge myself. Lots of eating, drinking, talking and hopefully a bit of shopping. Sydney is my home town so I like being there, especially when I can pretend I’m a tourist and have people wait on me.

Jenny Cruise and Anne Stuart are coming which should be a blast. There’s also a Venetian Carnivale cocktail party and an awards dinner. I usually go home with lots of books to add to my already out of control TBR pile (or in my case a book shelf). But I have lots to do before I go. Household stuff and other boring stuff. And if I could just find the perfect, subtle, purple velvet top to go with my Venetian Mask, I’d be happy.
